The 2025 Norfolk County Foursomes will be at Heacham Manor Golf Club on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th April. Having been the venue for the County Matchplay Finals for several years, this will be the first time that Heacham Manor has hosted this particular prestigious event. There has been a high demand for entries, and a field of 66 pairs
Bawburgh member Robert Webb won the season’s first Order of Merit, held at Great Yarmouth & Caister GC. The conditions were challenging for the field of 68, mainly due to a strong easterly wind blowing across the links course and temperatures that dipped later in the afternoon. NIC Cains has come full circle with the Norfolk County Golf Union, returning to take on the captaincy role. Cains was a teenager when he climbed the county golf ladder, swiftly progressing from Norfolk juniors through to first-team level. He has gone on to enjoy a successful career in the sport and is the current head professional at Swaffham Golf
The 2025 County Order of Merit gets underway on Sunday 6th April at Great Yarmouth & Caister Golf Club. There is an excellent entry of 69 players, and there will prizes for both the best Scratch and Handicap scores. As always, OOM points will also be awarded to the top 10 players in both events.
