Thetford to represent Norfolk in national team championship
Sully Goddard and Danny Loveday won the Team Shield at the County Amateur along with Ed Dimambro. Josh Chamberlain will join Sully and Danny at the English Club Championship
Thetford Golf Club will fly the flag for the Norfolk County Golf Union when contesting the English Men’s Champion Club competition at Kedleston Park on September 19-20.
Sully Goddard, Danny Loveday and Josh Chamberlain will represent Thetford, who earned the right of a place at the Derbyshire-staged finale by virtue of winning the team event at the Norfolk Amateur Championship, held in May at Bawburgh Golf Club.
The Thetford trio will compete individually over 36 holes at Kedleston Park where aggregate scores from all three each day will count towards the final result.
