The SEG Boys’ Qualifier was played at Rookery Park on the 4th of July.

 

Norfolk jostled for position against Middlesex, BB&O, Surrey, Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Hampshire. The competition was very challenging and Norfolk finished in eleventh position with a score of 450 gross. Kent won the team event 375 and Charlie Rushbridge from Essex the individual 142.

 

It was a steep learning curve in competitive golf at the highest county junior boys level.
