This week sees the first round matches in this season’s Barnard Trophy. Last year’s champions, Royal Norwich, received a bye in the draw and will entertain the winners of Mattishall against King’s Lynn in the next round. After the windy conditions at Great Yarmouth & Caister earlier this month, it was much more pleasant at Wensum Valley for the 41 players in the second Order of Merit of the 2025 season. The second round of the 2025 County Order of Merit is being held on Sunday 27th April at Wensum Valley Golf Club. There is another tremendous entry of 47 players and, once again, there will prizes for both the best Scratch and Handicap scores. As always, OOM points will also be awarded to the top 10 players in both events.
