As September arrives, several golf clubs in Norfolk will be looking forward to the finals of the County Inter-Club Knockouts.

On Wednesday the 4th, the inaugural final of the Senior Scratch Knockout will take place at Sprowston Manor, when teams from King’s Lynn and Sheringham will go head-to-head.

On Sunday the 15th, Sprowston Manor will also host the final of the Cullington Trophy between Royal Norwich and Gt Yarmouth & Caister.

Then, on Sunday the 22nd, Eaton and King’s Lynn will do battle for the Myhill Trophy at the home of the 2023 winners, Mattishall.

And, to end the month, the semi-finals and final of the Scratch Knockout will take place at Dunston Hall. It’s King’s Lynn against Sheringham (again), and Eaton against Hunstanton for the right to meet in the final that afternoon.

In addition, promotions and relegations will be decided as the Handicap League draws to a close.

All of this and then, in October, the Scratch and Handicap Match-play finals return to Heacham Manor – exciting times!
