The County Under 18’s team travelled to The Bedfordshire Golf Club for their first matches of the South East League campaign, and came away with mixed results.

Playing against both Bedfordshire and Suffolk on a cold and blustery afternoon, there were several personal performances of note.

Theo Pudney won both his matches, while Jake Gunby won one and halved one. Meanwhile, Quin Monaghan halved both his games, and both Louis Hawes and Liam Caffyn added points to the score against Suffolk.

Overall, Norfolk beat Suffolk 5-3 but lost to Bedfordshire 2-6.

Team morale, as always, was excellent and it was a solid start to the season.

The team’s next fixture is at home on the 25th of May at Barnham Broom.
