The 2025 County Order of Merit gets underway on Sunday 6th April at Great Yarmouth & Caister Golf Club.
There is an excellent entry of 69 players, and there will prizes for both the best Scratch and Handicap scores. As always, OOM points will also be awarded to the top 10 players in both events.
In total, there are seven separate OOM qualifying events and, in addition, points can also be won at the County Amateur and Handicap Championships which will count towards the respective Scratch & Handicap OOMs.
All the points will be accumulated to find the OOM Scratch and Handicap Champions at the end of the season, and the top 16 in each will be invited to the County Matchplay Finals to be held at Bawburgh Golf Club in October.
The OOMs are competitive but enjoyable events, being medal rounds over 18 holes, and are open to players with a Handicap index of up to 24.0. Best of all, the entry fee is just £25.00.
Entries are currently open for all the remaining events, the next ones being at Wensum Valley Golf Club on Sunday 27th April and Bawburgh Golf Club on Sunday 18th May.
